In celebration of American Archives Month, several Pikes Peak area archives will be screening and discussing rare, historic films from their collections on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 6:30-8 p.m., at the Pikes Peak Library District Penrose Library. The program “Reel History of the Pikes Peak Region” will feature early films depicting the Pikes Peak region from the archival collections of the U.S. Air Force Academy Library, U.S. Figure Skating, Young Life, and the Pikes Peak Library District Special Collections. The program is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
