Tue., Oct. 28, from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
Penrose Library, 20 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs On Tuesday, October 28, 6:30 p.m., Special Collections will host what has become an annual program, The Reel History of the Pikes Peak Region film screening. The program, which brings attention to October’s designation as American Archives Month, features the screening of one-of-a-kind film gems from the Special Collections film vault. These films, both professional and amateur, were made in the Pikes Peak region during the early to mid 20th century. They exist, in large part, as the only surviving copies of valuable moving image records of our area. No reservations required for this free event. For more information call 719-531-6333 x2253.
